Be careful. No income tax would be wonderful as long as they don’t tax interest, dividends, capital gains, real estate and everything you purchase. What they give with one hand they can take away with the other. Also, no income tax must have legislation that states shall not raise taxes otherwise they lose all federal funding.
“I believe that at some point in the not too distant future, you won’t even have income tax to pay because the money we’re taking in is so great. It’s so enormous that you’re not gonna have income tax to pay.”
Who can disagree with this? Who wants to keep giving half their money to the government?
No income tax just means they'll pass a national sales tax, or consumption tax, or some other bullshit tax. The only thing no income tax saves us from is the annual hell of filing. I'm not getting my hopes up.
Unless they replace revenue with tariffs like he said he wanted to do…and it actually is the huge revenue stream he is saying it is…but like you, I’m not holding my breath…I’m sure the unaparty will try to screw us like they’ve always done…they are so out of touch with reality living their million dollar lifestyles…
Trump isn't going to be in office forever. The money grubbing parasites in DC will get their blood out of us one way or another. Chicken little, my ass.
Regressive tax? That's a line of nonsense the rich have been lying about for years. Assuming most essential items like food are exempted, which make up the vast majority of the expenses for the poor, a consumption tax is not regressive in practice. In fact, it is the income tax that is truly regressive. It shifts the tax burden to the middle class who can't afford the expensive overhead of legal structuring costs like the rich to avoid showing income. But the wealthy can't avoid a consumption tax. There are no crazy loopholes that they can engineer. Everyone, even businesses, pay when anything is consumed, and the more they consume, the more they pay.
Meanwhile, the middle class are granted the option not to consume and to actually save money tax free. You can earn as much as you like and only pay when you actually spend it. It rewards saving and frugality...exactly what promotes a healthy middle class. It makes it very attractive to do things like avoid taxes by fixing your old appliances rather than buying new ones. With income taxes, where you're taxed on productive income, you pay regardless of how thrifty you are.
Nobody like taxes, but don't propagate the rhetoric that consumption taxes are unfair to the poor. The wealthy get a much bigger relative advantage with income taxes. They pushed it for a reason, and that reason was never for our benefit.
Prices are up because they can get away with it. Once things are American made again, they will have to lower prices to compete and we're not footing the tariff bill any longer

Bullshit excuse not to do it. All those things are already exhorbitantly taxed. We will have to fight them all.

I would expect the elimination would be passed summerish for a 2028 Vance campaign boost
This only happens if WE THE PEOPLE demand it and hold our representatives accountable for getting it done! That's the plan
I can’t imagine Demonrats going along with something most Americans want and Trump gets credit for.
Sir, as long as we have income tax you have failed to MAGA. Its that simple.
Could be! Also check out we will release all Epstein documents and hold those accountable still waiting
