Normies don't care about Intel's back door. They can barely figure out what to do when an icon moves on their desktop. It's all wrote memorization of workflows.
AMD has taken the lead because their processors offer way more value than Intel's at this moment. Their CPU sockets also have extremely long lives - AM4 is like 9 years old at this point. Intel's sockets last 2 processor generations and then you need a new board to upgrade. Buying AMD is cheaper right now and in the future.
