The Boomers are aging into retirement. Gen X is at the stage they’ll generally refrain from upsetting the Applecart as they need to consider retirement.
Millennials and Gen Z are still young enough they can afford to tank financial losses and instability. As they have time to recover them. Not that many of them have all that much to loose to start with. Any serious change or threats to the status quo would ultimately originate there. Thus they’re most important to control and contain.
