Just got a Vision of Taffy 3 at the Battle off Samar. Glorified Tin Cans armed with pop guns in a close range slug fest with Cruisers and Battleships. Should’ve been a one sided slaughter.
But it wasn’t.
Rest in Peace to the Crews of U.S.S Gambier Bay, St.Lo, Hoel, Johnston, and the Samuel Robert’s.
Was a one sided slaughter , the yapping Chihuahuas dove off their Bull dogs on pure Bushidō (武士道) and they couldn't even recognize it. This wasn't the Light Brigade being sent and blindly sacrificing themselves , this was "improvise, adapt, and overcome" by Warriors who knew of the 300 Spartans.
Yeah, no kidding. He was a docent at a naval park where there’s a boat same as he was on…their locker space is crazy small! 1/3 the space under a bunk. Maybe 10” deep.
I still have this game. I’m currently modifying it to Venezuelan narco boats.
And turn the battleship into a tanker
damn this is bringing back memories

God bless him.
I'll bet he knew how to pack light.
