If people would stop being such retards* and actually speak up. I have a sense that some (a lot) of people who got the vaccine and boosters know they are sick but they are entrapped in pride. An old thing I was taught was that we are all connected by 3 people in real life. Online we are not really connected because the deceiver of nations turns real people into morons. No matter how you slice it up. Ai is controlled by man and man is capable of being influenced by the Deceiver of Nations. Others go straight to saying ai is possessed but why would he possess ai when he can the people who run ai.
We as people are flawed but we can not know what good and evil is and proclaim there is a balance between good and evil. There was never a balance. Evil rules this world and Christians are the Salt of this world. This who created ai can not write out what God has created. Essentially you cannot hold hands with the devil very long before you know you are and at that point you have a choice.
I gave myself some homework. George Gallup. yes, the poll guy and modern father of political science put into data collecting and stats. The left and the right were political experiments, social engineering. They think they have enough data now to cull, too many subjects leave too many variables, so, usher in mass extermination, this time,, through abortion. People voted for it. Numbers. We have all been studied and marketed to, increasingly partisan with each generation. We are the grains of rice in their market wars. So many of the issues that America is seriously divided over did not exist 20 years ago, but there was still division. Now, we have far right people cheering on government surveillance, and far left people doing the surveillance, or, actually, who is doing it? BOTH. A lot of this started with Gallup. He reduced the people to stats. Science exists through experiments. Thats where the people come in. I am sure someone else mentioned this years ago, but I am needing something to learn. The ancient father of political science was Aristotle. I'll listen to the audio book first. I want to learn Gallups history, his social circle, the Universities that teach the theories around his "science". What else does an old lady Libertarian do? Housework gets achey, homework keeps me teachable.

We got the tree, and I splurged on a beautiful hand crafted wreath. The woman who makes them is a master at it. Cedar, balsam, juniper, juniper berries and just small native sticky pine cones. Simple. I had no tree for the past 3 years, because of kittens and a rambunctious puppy. They are all grown up now. Toddlers of all ages just cannot help themselves. I am a traditionalist, one thing I am stuck in my ways about, I think its a gift we give our children, a place to center our brains on in a world that is trying its best to erase them, and turn us all into something else, a confused and diluted culture does more than upset social norms, it unhinges us from our base. You cannot know where you are going if you do not know where you come from. I have no problem with each belief practicing their own traditions, but please keep them undiluted. I also cannot stand secular "Holiday" movies, my favorite Christmas movie? Color me weird, but I adore the movie The Lion in Winter. Katherine Hepburn and Peter O Toole hamming it up spectacularly. Dramatic history, and a very young Anthony Hopkins, I think it was his first film.

There were maybe a few tweets circulated about "Christmas music" that was made by """non-Christians""" to direct people away from the religious nature of the holiday, was wondering if people have examples or thoughts on this being done with films or movies, other stories, other "Christmas" practices that kind of don't have anything to do with Christmas?
Or are there so many examples and so many more that it might be easier to create a whitelist for example of "semi-decent" Christmas films that deliver a Christian message?
Were the shooting events over this last weekend supposed to dominate the news cycle because a delta about CA voter fraud suggested Trump was going to announce the investigation on Friday the 12th instead of Monday the 14th?

Archaeologists have unearthed an extraordinary Assyrian inscription from the First Temple period in Jerusalem—the first of its kind to be discovered in the city. The tiny fragment of pottery, just 2.5 centimeters in diameter and inscribed in Akkadian cuneiform, was discovered close to the Temple Mount’s Western Wall in excavations conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) and the City of David Foundation.

Dating to about 2,700 years ago, the inscription likely formed part of a royal seal impression on an official dispatch sent from the Assyrian royal court to the Kingdom of Judah. Scholars believe it may refer to a delay in the payment of tribute, possibly connected with a time of tension or rebellion as described in the Bible when King Hezekiah rebelled against Assyrian rule.
The fragment was recovered through wet sifting at Jerusalem’s Davidson Archaeological Park to ensure its authenticity. According to the research team, this is direct evidence of correspondence between Assyria, the ancient Near Eastern dominant power, and Judah, a former vassal state. The document includes a date (“the first of the month of Av”) and mentions a “chariot officer,” a royal courier whose responsibility was to deliver official messages.
The soil layer containing the inscription was taken from Second Temple period deposits from Jerusalem’s ancient drainage canal. Archaeologists believe it originated from the collapse of an older First Temple structure, near one of the closest known sites west of the Temple Mount with remains from that era.

This proves that the document was produced in an Assyrian administrative center and sent to Jerusalem. A chemical study by the Geological Survey of Israel is underway to identify its exact origin
Although the text is incomplete, scholars have interpreted it as evidence of political tensions between Judah and the Assyrian Empire, possibly over missed tribute payments. The discovery sheds light on the extent of Assyrian power in Jerusalem and the mechanisms of imperial communication during the late 8th and early 7th centuries BCE.

Unearthed within the Kishle complex at the Tower of David, adjacent to the historic citadel, it represents one of the longest and most intact fortification sections ever found within the city. Excavation work was done by the IAA as part of preparations for the future Schulich Wing of Archaeology, Art, and Innovation at the Tower of David Jerusalem Museum.

Well over 40 meters long and about five meters wide, the fortification was built from massive stone blocks that were finely dressed with a distinctive chiseled boss, typical of the Hasmonean period.
Researchers believe the wall stood over ten meters high in its original state. Similar sections of the defensive system have been uncovered around Mount Zion, the City of David, the courtyard of the citadel, and along parts of the western boundary of Jerusalem, but none is as extensive or as well-preserved.

Archaeological evidence from the Kishle, however, suggests that this wall did not simply disintegrate over time. Rather, remains suggest deliberate and systematic dismantling, raising questions as to who ordered its destruction and why.

One explanation links the demolition of the wall to events surrounding the Seleucid siege of Jerusalem by Antiochus VII Sidetes in the 130s BCE. Historical sources tell of how the Hasmonean ruler John Hyrcanus I negotiated an agreement to end the siege, which might have entailed the removal of Jerusalem’s fortifications as one of the conditions of peace. The section of the dismantled wall may constitute the physical evidence of that political compromise.

One alternative possibility places responsibility decades later, during the reign of King Herod. In seeking to distance himself from the Hasmonean dynasty that he supplanted, Herod might have deliberately erased their monumental building projects. The systematic nature of the wall’s destruction is consistent with broader Herodian policies aimed at reshaping Jerusalem’s urban and political landscape.
Excavations nearby give further context to the turbulent period in which the wall stood. In the 1980s, archaeologists discovered a large cache of Hellenistic weapons at the foot of the First Wall: catapult stones, arrowheads, slingstones, and lead projectiles. This is generally interpreted as remnants of the failed assault of Antiochus VII, with heavy siege weapons accumulating at the foot of defenses they could not breach.

The project aims to integrate archaeology with contemporary artistic interpretation in such a way that allows the public to engage in a direct and tangible encounter with the ancient defenses.

What do you normally use for spot price? My normal check (APMEX) had it listed 20 cents higher. I know it is still the weekend, so pricing ain't consistent, but that's not a great spread.
All the dealers use the asking price for silver. It trades with a bid and higher asking price.
