And Fuentes immediately crowning himself the new Charlie, and the hundreds of Charlie videos I used to see scrolling past per day all vanished, being replaced by either Fuentes or Charlie theories.

i wonder if “charlie” ever existed at all, or was a made-up character with a scripted existence
I too, was flooded with charlie kirk clips, just before his fake death.
i remember having a slight uncanny-valley feel about him, like he was fake, and only existed in a character on youtube short clips
i remember thinking his videos were OK-ish,
good enough not to end the video early,
but never good enough to text to a friend
