I can't think of a single developed society in history where it didn't exist.
Moreover, forcibly abolishing classes in society it's like trying to homogenize a snow globe. How do you forcibly make everyone "equal" class-wise? .

Simple. Because even if all men were started on the exact same foundation, some are going to accumulate more resources than others, and therefore live a different kind of life. And it's a leftist-minded mistake to assume that "only happens because of dirty dealings" Etc.
Rather than hating/demonizing capitalism, it's incumbent on every person to go out and do the best they can in a capitalist system.

There is probably no one walking on this earth that doesn't have an ancestor somewhere who was enslaved, raped, or mowed down by invading hordes. I remember reading an article decades ago that said forty percent of people in the long ago past died violently. It could be seen on exhumed skeletons. Women and children died trying to ward off blows. Life was grueling. We've actually come a very long way.

And when American soldiers liberated them and sent them to US they were so grateful. learned the language and laws, became citizens and made a good life. To them to get welfare or any handouts was shameful.
