Sources say that someone close to the situation who knows a guy who worked with a person who's a source of information that once worked for a confidential agency that did intelligence in unconfirmed areas of intelligence where there were sources that did (REDACTED) for a government with good sources.

They are getting desperate. Putin would see no advantage in a costly war in Western Europe. He makes money out of trading energy that Western Europe desperately requires.

You're right about that. Besides, the war to liberate the eastern provinces of Ukraine has been so costly in terms of lives and treasure, that a wider war in Europe would not be strategically feasible. It's NOT going to happen.
Putin is probably quite content to watch Europe destroy itself and its own economies and cultural heritage through stupid immigration policies....something Russia would never do.

Might actually not be that bad a thing for Europe if it happened. Most of the recent immigrants/invaders would probably not care to fight but would behave like the rats most of them are - run out of the place as fast as they can. Might not even need an actual war for that, a lot would presumably decide that their origin countries weren't that bad after all even if there were serious and believable rumors that all of Europe might end up as a war zone in which they would not be the winners.

Russia invaded Ukraine nearly four years ago and has not been able to conquer that country. It’s hardly conceivable they could successfully expand the war and somehow capture other European countries.
That is insane! Putin just wants his own land back and calm neighbors. No way he would want to be involved with any of those Euro crazies.
