It depends on your specific circumstances. I work outside so wonβt need as much as someone who rarely goes outside. I take just 1000 iu per day, during the winter I should probably take a little bit more.
Also I havenβt done the research yet but I believe vitamin k2 is good to take with D because it helps absorption into the body
