NIGERIA-UNITED STATES SECURITY COOPERATION AND INTELLIGENCE COLLABORATION HITS AT TERRORIST TARGETS IN NIGERIA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria confirms that Nigerian authorities remain engaged in structured security cooperation with international partners, including the United States of America, in addressing the persistent threat of terrorism and violent extremism. Excellent. Thank you. That was very helpful.
I would not be surprised if the Nigerian government asked the US for help. These terrorist groups are destabilizing the country. They government wants to pursue economic development and that is hard to do in the midst of instability. It just shows the level of trust that these nations have in Trump. He is winning many of them over and pulling them away from the grip of China that has been allowed to gain a foothold in the region. There is definitely a new sheriff in town and it shows. No doubt this action has Beijing shaking in their boots - especially along side what is happening in Cambodia right now.
