We do not want this war, this violence, and we’re ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas”. The comment, made nine days before the U.S. invasion of Iraq, expressed the band’s opposition to the impending war and their embarrassment that President George W. Bush was from their home state of Texas."
So Americans were pissed at the Chicks for speaking down on Baby Bush. Now, twenty two years later after finding out how evil he really was it seems the Chicks were correct in their disapproval. I think folks need to reevaluate their disdain for the Chicks. They were speaking truth to power and the media made a big deal out of it in order to protect Bush.

What you are attempting is the "All or nothing" falacy. Also, when you are right you shouldn't need to compromise. The side that is wrong needs to compromise and come to your side.

Their game is to continually get us to cede ground then fail to keep promises/compromises, then reeeee and slander/attack us when we try to take back ground.
