This is fascinating so far. Rice and Bush lied to Putin when he stated Bud McFarland was in contact with the Iranians. This is like NoName and his deals with terrorists.

I am starting to think that Iran-Contra affair was not just weapon smuggling. I think it was the beginning of Iran's nuclear program.
It makes sense because right during that time we have Seymour Hersche released the "Samson Option" about israel's nuclear program.
My guess is that, when US - USSR failed to provide the nuclear war that was demanded of them, they decided to provide nukes to Israel and Iran.
If you look at everything happening from this lens things become very clear.

This is why the Cuban missile crisis happened in 1962 under Kruschev, but JFK managed to dissipate it. If you ask me, the primary reason he was killed was because they needed someone else who is stupid enough to make mistakes and play into their hands.

There was never quite that "click" between the USSR and US presidents the Cabal needed to ignite the nuclear spark. Eventually they decided to throw USSR to the wolves and move to the Israel vs Iran nuclear ambition, again the timeline is in tandem.
I agree with your assessment of Soviet inner and outer control influence under the various leaders.
Sadly though, there was still much evil and turmoil amongst the satellites regardless.
That type of inner control should never be replicated.
