Until 2012: It's called Gender Identity Disorder (GID) (because it's a disorder)
2013: Gender Dysphoria (because it's still a disorder)
2019: Gender Incongruence (aaaaannnd suddenly somehow not a disorder! Talk about incongruent...)
Current year: Transgender (heterosexuality is now the disorder!)
Play-acting as if you are of the opposite sex (transvestism) and genuinely believing you are of the opposite sex (GID) are two different disorders - but they're still both disorders a/k/a mental illness
I think adults should have the right to playact that way if they want (yes, even including at least some level of bodily mutilations...), and not be forced into getting psychiatric help for it, but they should still be seen as having a mental disorder they can get help for if they are willing to accept it. Because as long as they don't try to use it for fraud etc and it remains as mostly playacting it can remain as a mostly harmless eccentricity by the individual as far as other people are concerned.
But trying to claim it as something normal, much less trying to force others to accept it as normal, that was going way overboard with the whole thing.

And keep children out of it.
I feel like it's immoral to sell surgeries of that nature.
somehow these disorders aren’t actually disorders,
BUT somehow they still require life-saving interventions at the very first onset ?
they want it both ways
