From another Anon:
I'm very glad to hear that.
Cancer can do that to people.
One of my non-Christian BFFs had it in 2013 and was nearing death.
I wrote out the Prayer of Salvation for him and sent it to him with a note that said, "Why not pray this? Why not give your heart to Jesus Christ before it's too late? What the Hell do you have to lose?"
He texted me shortly before I died and said he prayed the Prayer of Salvation and meant it.
So when my dear friend died, it didn't hurt as much because I know that he's in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I pray the same for Scott Adams and everyone n this planet, even our evil enemies, for whom it still is not too late.

Did not sound genuine at all. He said he would convert because if he simply claims to be christian before he dies then he goes to heaven. Conversely, if he DIDN'T convert before he dies and there IS a heaven, he wouldn't make it in.
I didn't like how he said it and I don't like that he believes he will go to heaven simply by claiming to be a Christian convert. Literally putting zero effort and claiming salvation just doesn't sit right with me.
I have to agree. Sounded more like hedging his bets. Basically he was saying something like “Yeah, a bunch of you want me to so I’ll do it just in case you’re right.” Not for me to judge, but I’m not sure that constitutes faith the size of a mustard seed.
Perhaps if/when he “converts” he’ll learn what being a Christian is, who Jesus is, what He did for us, etc. God knows what’s in Mr Adams’ heart, doesn’t begrudge us for questioning faith, so the ultimate “outcome” will be God’s choice. It would be beautiful if SA (and any other current nonbeliever) were to actually get to know Jesus while he’s on this earth. Even his tepid, insincere step in the right direction may lead to something fruitful. God can work miracles in people.
Fear is strong in a non-believer. He doesn't have much time. He needs prayers.
