It's absolutely necessary in an information war. 2 misspellings, in one title, on a research board, is lazy and shameful. IMO it immediately begins to discredit your opinion (depends on context of course, for example if English isnt your first language)
But good Lord, if English is your first and primary language, spellcheck yourself... or just spell correctly to begin with. Makes what comes out of your mouth next slightly more credible...
