In case anyone is wondering. They found Camp Century. Which was a proof of concept installation powered by its own miniaturized Nuclear Reactor.
It was supposed to be the first of a series of Missile Bases and early warning sites under the Greenland Ice Sheet. Instability in the Ice Sheet and legislation changes in Denmark over basing rights lead to the Installation being closed.
If I remember correctly this was brought up here 7 months or so ago.
It does get brought up here periodically. One of the lesser known facilities of the Cold War in such a remote area. Combined with often false perceptions of technology at the time. Lead people to always find it intriguing.
