YouTube usually gives me good stuff. Reddit post narrators, vtuber clips, music, other creators, who are actually experienced in the real world regarding the videos they make. Tyler Folse is a nuclear engineer, and makes react videos to other creators videos about nuclear anything, as well as other stuff.
Amazon Prime Video is constantly suggesting Christian programming to me after I watched The Chosen. That's a win. That's capitalism. Offer the customer what they probably would like.
I find YouTube search nearly completely useless and their recommendations just as bad. I search YouTube using Google now if I'm not in the mood to waste my time.
Ironically, if I wait a few weeks, YouTube will recommend a years-old video that nearly exactly matches what I was previously searching for earlier but wouldn't give me when I was looking. That tells me it's a feature and not a bug.
So does Youtube have to disclose their wretched algorithm? How about Google?
