The statistics everyone is saying is that 83% of the somalis are natural born in USA. That means they cannot be denaturalized. So we're looking at around maybe 10,000 to 20,000 of somalis to be deported, and most likely, a high percent of these are seniors.
You have no idea how this community is. I work two part jobs, one is at a movie theater, the other is a hostess at a restaurant. They love to show up in large groups of 10 to 20. Then they love to be served like kings and queens. Then they never ever ever ever leave a tip, not one cent. There's a girl that works as server and last week she was literally crying because she had to wait on three groups of somalis for the night, and of course got no tip which is calculated in the servers compensation.
When Trump first said I want them all gone, unfortunately I don't think this is realistic. What do you think the best we can hope for is?
Cheer up! About 83% are naturalized or permanent residents. All of them can go. As to the children:
Yes, children of refugees, even minors, can be deported from the U.S. if they don't qualify for asylum or other protections, especially if they entered without authorization and lack legal status, though specific laws like the TVPRA offer protections for unaccompanied minors, and DACA can shield some. The process is complex, and while many protections exist, children are still vulnerable to removal, especially if they don't have legal representation or miss court dates, with some being removed as young as toddlers.
Not sure about the ones born here, but I think they should be still considered refugees and go back.
I want them all gone. I don’t give a shit how it’s done.
