They were stopped higher up the food chain. This has been true with all federal agencies. A significant number of honest people at the lower levels, total assholes at the top.

The ENTIRE IRS was built on "good intentions". It was ONLY a 1% tax on the top 1% of people. Thats how they sold it.

Fire all of them and dismantle the IRS
If a task force is needed for mass audits of congress, or H1b, or anything else, then a temporary task force is authorized for explicitly that, with very specific conditions on continuance.
Dismantle the IRS immediately. We do NOT need to wait on these other problems to clean themselves up before we try and get rid of the IRS
Your assuming a bulk hire of 85,000 people is real. Even if it is real, they are democrat left leaning. Better to just fire/erase from records and end the irs.

End the IRS and if you need some agents then ask fired agents who are conservative to come back within a different department.

I've always assumed they were totaling up all the money seized by the IRS since inception, finding out where it went and who to distribute it to after recovery.
