Back in 1970, the Kent State riots organized by a card carrying member of Communist Party USA who was on the faculty there. He brought in outside agitators who radicalized the students. Before Ohio’s governor brought in the National Guard, they burned down the ROTC building and badly vandalized Kent’s downtown business district. The details were in John Stormer’s book, None Dare Call It Treason, 25 Years Later. Unfortunately, these details are mostly lost to history.
Yes. Plenty of Communist / Cabal / FBI etc participation; they were working hard to create violent protests. Still, the protests at Kent State were pretty mild compared to what we're seeing today, and we (or I, at least) didn't see so many people then who were clearly out of their freaking minds.

In addition to burning down the ROTC building and vandalizing downtown Kent, they also filled bags of sh*t to throw at police and the national guard.
Yuck!
