It's popular here, period. We aren't brainwashed here to believe every sob story of the left. If they don't want to die, quit fighting with federal officers. Only stupid corrupt people do that shit.
I agree with you that people shouldn't fight federal officers, to an extent, but let's not pretend that there haven't been instances where federal agents over reacted.

What were they doing? They were fighting federal officers. We can't pick and choose when the Constitution applies.
Many on this board will say point blank "shall not be infringed" whenever a gun issue comes up, but right now many people are saying "don't bring a gun to a protest."
You have a right to "peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances," not riot and attack law enforcement because you don't like what they are doing. There is no right to resist arrest. You comply with law enforcement and if what they are doing is unlawful, you address it afterwards in the courts.

Its a slippery slope.

The LEOs are getting attacked all the time and so they are twitchy.
It's just sensible not to get in an altercation with them when armed during what is really a riot not a protest.
If the same way, it's best not to play on railway tracks or slippy clifftops or play with tigers.
Don't be obtuse.
