Not a coincidence. This is linguistic and cultural replacement in real time, broadcast to 100+ million people.

One split so it'll season for next year, I'd love to have a log splitter but wasn't planning on a huge Golden Maple showing up. I also rip pallets with a skill saw and burn scraps from jobsites. Save apple and cherry for smoking food. I'm frugal. Can't justify a log splitter for the usual beetle kill pine but they're almost a necessity in Western Montana or the PNW.
