They will contribute $1000 to the account (in addition to the $1000 the government is seeding).
Plus, they will contribute another $1000 if the employee contributes an additional $4000 in the next 24 months.
My daughter signed up her newest addition to the family born in 2025 for a Trump account, hopefully more companies will contribute. She's going to see if she can get the rest of her crew signed up (besides the baby, she has 4 other kids under 18, and 1 over 18, so that one won't qualify now). She does know that the other kids won't get the seed money like the baby will, but she's going to check into it for them anyway.
