Most of the land was bought or shared by the natives that joined the colonists, the only natives that had their land taken though conquest were the warrior tribes that were hated by all the other peaceful tribes anyways and the peaceful tribes were more than happy to help the colonists eradicate the warrior tribes.
I think everyone needs to go and not relearn history, but learn history. I don't think they were taught it in the first place. Read books that are written in the first person, from people who knew the Indians, were kidnapped by them, fought them.... see who they really were. Most tribes were selling their own into slavery, killing each other in very, VERY brutal ways. One image I can't get out of my mind is from a book written by a man who was kidnapped by the Indians when he was like 10 years old. They would kidnap colonists children. One little girl, he estimated her to be about 2, wouldn't stop crying. It annoyed the Indian so bad that he swung her by her hair and threw her until she died.
He saw things that were incomprehensible by the modern liberals. They were brutal to their own families. It's ridiculous. Liberals seem to think all Indians were peace loving, killing only what they need, living in harmony with the earth like hippies. NOPE. Most were brutal. I'd love to see modern liberals try to hug a past Indian. They wouldn't live to see another minute.

Oddly enough, people who invoke the words 'stolen land' never ask the natives how they feel about mass immigration.
