I’m curious as to your thoughts here. Assuming that Trump is using optics to force Dems to cannibalize and commit political suicide, what does Mamdani play, a wake up call to coastal elites? A controlled demolition of the city, or a concession to the Deep State?

When public services come to a standstill and new taxes are the only way of digging out from that mess, eyes will open and begin to ask questions. Like....why do I have to pay more for garbage pickup, I've paid and paid and paid for decades! How hard is it to sling garbage sacks into the back of a garbage truck? Why does someone need $40/hr and benis to do that job?
