Yes, the dissolving bodies theory has been thoroughly debunked. Clickbait posts show a tanker trunk when in reality it only amounted to a few 55 gal drums.

People are implying that he was dissolving hundreds of bodies with massive amounts of acid. That is simply not true. It could not be done with only a few drums.
What is a common use for a few drums? As others have said - desalination.
