Medical coder here, we have what we call, CAC computer assisted coding. It gets the codes right about 50% of the time. On the other hand, we have to maintain a 96% accuracy. There are many variables in this work that aren't easy to AI. I suspect it will be this way for a while. It also depends on who is documenting in the chart and how accurate they are, if they speak good English etc.
is it true they changed the codes back in the 1970s to make it impossible to code for vaccine involved death? so now coders are forced to code it as “anything except vaccines”

They also have a Code for - IF you took the Jab..or Not.
