Half Time show opinions:
I didn’t watch it live and had zero intention on watching. After hearing Lee Brice song (link below) I decided to fast forward to him & Kid Rock. For many years I refused to listen to Kid Rock until he was the opener for a concert I was attending. We all have different chapters in our lives as we grow and evolve. After listening to Kid and seeing him in concert I’m a fan of his music. He’s got some really good slow ballads. Occasionally I enjoy listening to his rock songs when driving. Not so much a fan of him because I see him more as a showboat and I don’t care braggadocious attitude. However he does present the image he’s changed, is a Christian and conservative. It’s my place to judge if this is sincere or just a show. I sorta believe it’s legit, Hank Williams Jr has had a lot of influence on him. I read several comments on social media with the opinion he was lip singing. IDK, I’m not good at figuring that out. On music most award shows they prefer the artist to lip sing. Some do refuse and sing live. Lee Brice’s song is worth the listen even if you don’t like country music. It’s spot on what we are going through today. I do believe he’s a conservative and a good guy. He’s one of these artists that’s not in the top of his genre most likely because he doesn’t play the control game. There’s several country artists like this aren’t as big as other artists in the genre. I saw him in concert once as an opener. I met him and he was so down to earth and gave everyone a big bear hug. I’ve met a lot of artists and there’s just a few that treat fans as they are on their level. Some have are more business like during meet & greets.
I’m glad I didn’t waste my time watching this halftime show because it was a show and not like a regular concert. At least at something like the Super Bowl or events like it, the fans are not staged and told to respond a certain way. The audience on each side of the stage may have been ordinary people but they were instructed on how to respond and move. Everyone had the same dance & hands in the air. I’ve been to many concerts and I’ve never seen everyone respond the same way. Some people dance in place and put hands in the air like people might do praise hand in the air in church. Most people don’t do this. Some don’t even sing along. Most just quietly observe and enjoy the show.
I’m not judging this “halftime” show! It’s just something that doesn’t appeal to me as a music fan. I applaud Turning Point for doing this. Especially doing the show as an alternative to the sexualized anti American Super Bowl halftime show. I haven’t watched that but I’ve seen several videos breaking down everything about it.
Maybe it was for show or donations, IDK. I don’t follow this group because it seems like just another money making scheme in the name of Christianity and conservatism. I’m not a fan of Kirk’s wife & never listened to him other than a few clips that showed up on my instagram feed.

Hello to you fren. I love the number 13 because I don’t consider it unlucky. It’s just another pagan superstition, like a black cat crossing your path. Can’t believe I used to do an X if one crossed my path.
Absolutely! once I rode a motorcycle in a rainstorm on Friday the 13th while staring at a billboard of the movie Friday the 13th. True story. Freaking pagans got to ruin a good thing.
Oh gosh, that doesn’t sound like fun. I see things like this as God teaching us a lesson. I don’t presume to know what the lesson would have been for you in that situation. I’ve ridden a motorcycle once and have no desire to do it again. I have ridden roller coasters since I was a small child and none were as scary as the motorcycle. Not even the thing that went very high in the air and you are dangling like a tiny rag doll.
I begged my Papa to sell me his parents house, my great grandparents. I begged, pleaded and once talked very rudely to him for many years. I don’t why he finally caved, but he did and we got it very cheap. Was built in 1946 by him and my great granddaddy. Needless to say there was much improvements to do. One day I was on a ladder scraping decades of layers of paint off the ceiling. I busted out laughing & my hubby asked what was so funny. I said, God is telling me, you wanted it now you got it. I watched Bob Villa religiously for a long time and really wanted to have an old house. He was right! There’s nothing romantic about fixing up an old house. I feel like it’s a lesson from God I’m still learning because we are still working on this old house. It’s been totally remodeled and we are getting ready to redo the bathroom once again because it’s very small and a tight space.

I don’t think so. I’ve watched War Of The Roses several times. Kathleen Turner, Michael Douglas and Danny Divito. It’s about a married couple fixing up an old house & they fight all the. Plus the house is demolished from remodeling and they fighting. It’s been a long time so I might have left something out or got something wrong. I loved Turner & Douglas together in movies.

It’s been a long time since I watched that. I can’t stand Shelly Long, no particular reason. I used to watch everything Hanks did, not now, he makes me sick to the stomach.
