What a shame. Maine had a huge role in the abolition of slavery. Now they are a bastion of queefdom.
Maine is an awful place to live now. I want out. The bills they are pushing through take away more and more rights and get absolutely no attention.
I feel the same way in WA state. Luckily i live east of the mountains, the sane side.
I know what you mean about the sane side. I had to work up there when a new datacenter was being build to take advantage of the cheap hydropower. Sometimes I had to fly into SeaTac and drive east (assuming the stupid "passes" were not snowed over. Then other times I'd fly into Spokane. It was a night and day difference.
I'm not sure I could live up there though - I'd have basically zero representation in Washington - either one of them.
Grew up tjere and escaped. The mainers are brainwashed into libtards. Its unreal hhw they vote themselves into poverty. Gonna have to force the idiots to change.
I am wondering how many states will ignore the new law. I really don't expect them to all fall in line.

Having penalties spelled out in the text of the law helps.
No penalties = no reason to follow the law.
