Oh I concur, it's not simply a blanket "muh all" thing. IMO given historical habbenings and scripture, the name stealer faction is not the root tribe of brewz, but rather a subset. Something akin to the lineage of Cain or however you want to dissect it... or even removed and they are just a bunch of crazy ancient cultists who've chameloned their way through history into modernity.
Yeah, the sigil stuff is super interesting and deep. It could be as innocuous as say the Baltic fire cross resembling the swastika, yet predates the 20th century by 1,000 yrs.
Or, it could be much more nefarious when looking at the broader scope of sigil Magick. That star for all we know could be manifesting dread and all those who brandish it do so willingly or unwillingly.
I’ve seen claims that the actual star of remphan is an 8 pointed star, akin to the compass rose.
Considering they’ve pushed maritime law on us and might be descended from “sea peoples”, and the Phoenicians were famed mariners, that claim makes sense. I couldn’t tell you either one is true or false though.
I'm not sold one way or the other on maritime/admiralty law, but it is my belief that "judges" are lesser nobility, and "lawyers" are British agents. Wasn't Esquire a title in the British empire?
Careful fren! Don't wanna get us sent to a constellation camp!
Edit: Hey! My baba knitted me one of those scarves! Yep, that's a fire cross alright. Not to be confused with the lightning cross, which is the same but partially closed like four squares.
