That being said we absolutely need to have some type of enforcement against hardcore narcotics like fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and meth.
I just don't believe these solution for the addicts is jail/prison.
If you want to live in a society where people are doing fentanyl and meth on the streets virtually legally I would invite you to go spend some time in San Francisco, LA or Seattle. I don't think you hold that position for very long after that.
