Reminds me of my faux pas I made in Saudi when our government was selling F-15Es to the Saudis. The Crown Prince and generals were all in the room. The Prince was not happy with the fuel limitation that Congress put on their version of the aircraft. I was brought to the meeting as the expert. I piped up and explained how they could still carry four 2,000 lb bombs and still hit Baghdad or Tehran. The room went silent. Our general said theoretically. I said: Oh yeah, theoretically. The place burst into laughter. 😆
