Why do I feel like this is being done on purpose. I'm also seeing more and more vids censored out until I send YouTube a copy of my ID, which I will NEVER do.

If you are using any browser it may be blocked due to the source link. When you hit the image on a YT link posted to GAW you get the "Watch Video on Youtube" link and error 153 black window. Don't click on that link but right click on it and choose copy link. Open a new tab or new browser window and choose paste (not paste and go). Then click at the end and backspace to wipe out the the source info "&source_ve_path=MTc4NDI0" at the end of the link to create a direct link to the content. I think that code tells YT the link is coming from GAW.
Also, check that your Brave browser is up to date.
Yeah it’s been an ongoing battle between adbockers and YouTube. Ad blockers get the edge, YouTube squashes, repeat
Started after their last update to terms and conditions, same as the play on feature , ie next vid doesn't always continue unless in app
TubeMate has been a pain in the... lately.
I feel like YT is implementing some new anti-embed or anti-third party code. It's infuriating because I know Google used taxpayer dollars to become what it is, and now they turn around and keep screwing US over with their bullshit.
Have you tried a downloaded application?
A what?
I'm on my Brave browser
Scratch my previous comment lol.
Try clearing the cache on brave. You may have a ton of cookies and browsing history data clogging up YouTube. YT is bad about saving all of your clicks.
Sorry, that was a typo
I mean a video downloader.
well yeah I can download them but I just mean to actually watch them, i'm seeing more and more "errors" when trying to play a video
No. I watch YouTube videos in the Brave browser on my real desktop computer. I have no problem and never see any ads either.
YouTube does require a login to watch porn movies, such as the "Emmanuelle" movies they list. I don't care about them, as I watched one back in the distant past at a theater, and it wasn't much.
I do have a YouTube account just in case I ever decide to post a video, but I've never had to send them a copy of my ID.
Oh, Emmanuelle…blast from puberty past.
Use smart tube. I never use YouTube app.
neither do I, I use Brave browser
Nope. Use Brave browser instead of the apps while on mobile device. No ads, and it runs super well and allows you to stay logged in.
