So ALL of the 450 Million people living in the 27 EU nations are going to let France decide when they've been attacked?

I can understand Austria, Belgium, Italy and maybe even Germany and Luxembourg deciding that an attack on Cyprus would involve them... if France says so.

What about the Eastern Block countries? Croatia, Bulgaria, Czechia, Latvia, etc...? Or how about Poland or Hungary, who haven't been feeling the EU vibe lately?
