There IS no central authority running the show in Iran, apparently. And military command was long ago sectioned off into 31 fiefdoms which answer ONLY to the man who is currently dead, or his duly appointed successor, who is was injured in an airstrike and has not issued any order -- and might not be conscious or even alive.
