I heard about this some time ago but after learning that even Japan has a "Bar Association" I got curious to it again. Is this some grand scheme or is it innocent? How do so many places with different legal cultures have "Bar Associations"?

Yeah, MW has "barre" in use in the legal sense of barrier in the 1400s so the claim that a British Accredited Registry was created under that name in the 1600s would already be a backronym. "Barrister" comes from what we'd spell as "bar-ster" now.
What's true, and what Snopes is hiding, is the fact that certain British documents and buildings exist where practices were codified. However there's really nothing we can take from those to prove conspiracy, only architecture that may or may not be used for conspiracy. For instance William the Conqueror gave unique privileges to the City of London proper in 1067, a public document. Those Londoners were also closely affiliated with bankers and usurers. But what they actually plotted would be speculative.

Well, Google attorneys. There are so many and the field is diluted with DEI hired and women. A jail or prison should be a place where inmates get reformed but they are a complete jungle. If you aren’t racist before you go in? You certainly come out that way. Our laws are a joke - not the ones like murder, speeding, assault etc. but the law should NOT be so extensive and confusing or thereby you lack citizen consent.
