Great Britain has been allowing Iran’s ruling Revolutionary Guard to park its money in London for half a century while Lloyd’s offers jacked-up insurance rates to all those tankers faring through the Strait of Hormuz. This dynamic has made world oil up to 15-percent more expensive since the 1970s, and Britain’s banks have been creaming off the premium all the while. Trillions. Mr. Trump is putting an end to that racket while he also terminates Iran’s ability to export Jihad thuggery throughout the Middle East
It is crazy theyve been allowed to hijack tankers at their whim and hold them for ransom under the guise of... i don't even know what excuse they've been using.
How disgusting no one has stood up to them this whole time.
Kunstler's math is wrong on the price percentage increase between oil in the 1970s and today. I'd like to see where he got that 15% increase from. Even when factored fo inflation he's off by an ordered magnitude of 3x. And that's factoring in the average price of the whole 1970s and the 2020s. As of today's price, the difference before inflation is something like 653% between the year 1979 and today's price.
Interesting math tidbit because I'm old. Gas Stations used to have gas wars. Each station would drop it's price. Sometimes several times a day. The lowest I remember was 17 cents a gallon. Now, that never happens. The fault is due to environmentalists and big oil. Both doing the bidding of big oil. Can you guess what and why on this?
But looking at pay and cost. Gas is so much cheaper today.
Did we leave out the profits negotiated by Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for his Central Bank buddies at The City of London ?

It is the barbary coast all over again.

I know this post is kind of scatter-shot. Sorry.
Sometimes reality is just too unbelievable to believe. 15 % everyone can wrap their pissed off minds around.
Not sure if I agree with his prediction that the SAVE Act will come up again after Thune makes sure it fails this time.
The question is , Will Thune will float up ?
