I believe that the US will take Kharg island and hold it in perpetuity. But maybe we should take the islands in/near the strait of Hormuz. They include: Qeshm island, Larak island, Hormuz island, and Hengam island.
Also, maybe we should control the tiny islands in the Gulf.
Works for me.
Temporary, sure. But I don't think Trump wants to own any Middle East Gibraltar or something like that way over there. It seems to go against the whole idea of regional sovereignty that has created such good rapport with many nations. Maybe have it run by the Board of Peace or something.
So free Hawaii then! Pearl Harbor is the longest illegal military occupation to date.
As soon as Hawaii publishes the real BC of Obama!
Loretta Fuddy paid with her life for releasing that photoshop hack job bc you saw. Her death was even caught on film. Frogsuit dragged her under.
It’ll be our Diego Garcia.
USA: We get an island and another one and another one
Why do you think US will take over Kharg and hold it in perpetuity?
Two main reasons: the US will have huge leverage over Iran, possibly in perpetuity, to make sure that they play nice from here on out.
Secondly, a small fee on every barrel of oil shipped. Justified by what they did to Americans over the last 47 years, the cost of freedom from the Islamic regime and long term support of peace in the Middle East.
I expect Trump to work with US oil companies to do something similar to Venezuela in Iran.
You are giving reasons as to why it would be justified to take control of the islands forever. However, I was asking if there is anything from Trump administration indicating they were thinking of this.
From the Nat Sec document Trump put out recently, he made it clear that America wants to stay out of the rest of the world and focus just on its own hemisphere.
I think ending all sanction regimes / shadow economies, opening up all oil to the market, ending cheap oil supply to China and India, ending Climate Agenda, along with baseline tariffs would be enough to free America and the world and specifically recuperate the wealth lost due to these shenanigans. If it results in no income tax, we know that the job is done.
With Venezuela, I think it was done specifically to:
Protect that oil from any deep state elements still lurking around
Create a buffer for the upcoming (at that time) Iran attack.
