Finland has never done anything to help the USA, Finland is nothing but an economic & security liability to the USA. Finland doubled the length of NATO-Russia border the USA must defend yet Finland added absolutely no military capabilities to NATO.
I seem to remember that Finland were quite an effective fighting force against Russia, despite being outnumbered and out gunned.
Russia left humiliated, only gaining territory in the Continuation War due to the backing of American equipment and resources.

Karelia is split between Finland and Russia although I think all of Karelia should belong to Russia because Karelian people expressed their wish to stay in Russia last time Finland invaded Russia.
