I admit that I’m disappointed that Iran still has enough missles and launching sites to be able to take out so many oil refineries, etc. I guess I had no idea that their 5-10% remaining arsenal was so huge. I hope these incidents are helping our military to identify additional targets.
Macron of France:
"I think that everyone should calm down and the fighting should stop at least for a few days to try to give negotiations a chance again," the French leader added. "I hope that, in any case, everyone will return to reason."
What will it take for European leaders to realize that they can't put this toothpaste back into the tube? Almost all of Iran's former leaders and most of their military leaders are recently dead. The Iranian citizens are rising up and fighting back against the IRGC, and want to overthrow the Mullah regime. The regional countries have had enough and want the Iranian regime gone.
All "stop fighting & negotiations" would do is prolong the pain and give the Iranian IRGC a chance to recover and regroup.
Europeans might not like it... but the U.S. is the world's largest exporter of LNG. We do import some oil from the Persian Gulf. Roughly 5% of U.S. crude oil comes from the Middle East, but only about 2.5% of U.S. oil imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz. A shutdown of the Strait doesn't affect us as much.
About 15% of Europe's oil supply comes from the Persian Gulf area, and about 6%-7% passes through the Strait of Hormuz.
China imports about half of its crude oil from the Persian Gulf region. In 2025, 42% of China's crude oil imports, 4.9 million barrels per day, came from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar. Another 12% came from Iran on those "shadow tankers". That's 54% of China's total crude imports, and about 32% of China's crude imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
US = Barely affected.
EU = Significantly affected
China = Catastrophically affected.
😂 Your comments are using very big words that many “woke” will not understand. For maximum effectiveness I offer a alternative interpretation of you argument:
I taught math for 41 years and have tutored another 10 before and after my teaching career. Mutually exclusive is a mathematical term I couldn’t resist using.

Macron and reason are two mutually exclusive events.

Macron and Reason… try mixing oil and water!
We are winning fren!!!

Well done fren on teaching and toying with words!!!!
Macron and Reason are oxymoronic by natural process. They don’t and never will blend together in any way, shape or form!!!
China would be catastrophically effected...if Iran wasnt giving them a free pass.
The talking heads keep going on about who are we going to deal with as the next leader that will be around for a while.
The answer is that the Trump Team had that figured out before the war started and had a backup just in case.
Trump is playing 5D chess. The rest of the world is playing “Jacks”….
Exactly. And they are using a stone instead of a rubber ball.
