I believe this. An AI convinced an acquaintance he was another Jesus Christ and that he had a mission to go forth and "save" humanity. Another friend and I had a difficult time bringing that fellow back down to earth.
AI companions are very dangerous and I wouldn't advise anyone to mess around with that stuff.
AI has no soul. A large percentage of democrats have no soul.
