Once they cut off the federal taxpayer money and the costs of these pet projects fall on the local politicians, suddenly the school boards begin to care about what their voters think...or they go away.
But this can only happen if elections are clean. So please pass the SAVE America Act.
Most of the States make the Federal Government look competent. And of the State Governments that have passed laws. Schools are literally just relabeling the material and continuing as normal. As technically it’s something totally different. Even though it functionally is not. And the state governments are like ‘Well we passed a law. What else do you want us to do about it?’
And none of this is even addressing the rot at the University levels both public and private. Which are the locations producing the teachers, professors, principals and administrators that go on to infest the schools and colleges.
In short. You’re going to need something with more teeth to it than just dangling money in front of them. Especially when it’s 50/50 odds the courts may just rule you have to give them money anyway. And thus far Trump hasn’t been willing to pull an Andrew Jackson and tell the Courts to pound sand. They’ll slow walk stuff and do malicious compliance. But they haven’t this far totally ignored Court rulings yet.
We as Americans have to get rid of this education system, something needs to happen because it is totally different system, it is not an American, go to schools as a guest teacher or a parent and you will see what I am talking about. It is bad.
Now, I am a little bias because I have seen different things. My parents were both educators. I have been home-school for a while (not long, but long enough).
I have also seen very amazing and competent religious school students. They would be what you would considered the cream of the crop students. They not only performed splendidly in school like high GPA and Valedictorian but also know how to play musical instruments, sing, and dance. They are just amazing.
I have also seen public school here in the south who turned out excellent kids. Now I cannot say for sure that all of them are that excellent but compared to the west coast, damn, they are top notch. Kids who came out and already learned auto mechanic, journeyman assistant, or some other trade where they can make money already.
Where do we go from here? Research and learn and put together a comprehensive plan. No, not just throw money.
Something big (think 9-11) will have to happen to affect the current administrators and teachers to get them to love America enough to implement any of it. The current system spits out lefty’s and TDS prone dems. Otherwise it will take decades to produce MAGA patriot teachers and root out what’s currently there which is commie style educators. I wish them well and I’m glad they’re trying. We have to start somewhere. I look forward to those days and hope I’m still alive to see them.
