It's not too bad tbh. Go check some grocery prices in the EU. I think most of us here pay half of what you pay and we do not get all the additives. Heart burn is something people do not have in the EU unless they have an ulcer or something. Gas is expensive, yes, but we do not have to travel very far and there are good alternatives if needed.

The same holds true with places like Iran and China. Both countries are behind a modern day information Iron Curtain.
