Last week, my Envoy to Belarus, John Coale, after negotiating with Highly Respected President Alexander Lukashenko, got 250 more Political Prisoners freed! This brings the total Prisoners gracefully released by President Lukashenko to well over 500, since last May. I'll admit it. I had to look it up. I knew that Belarus had to border Russia but it didn't occur to me that it has a huge border with Ukraine.

Yes, and Belarus gets a lot of flack for not siding with Ukraine.
And Lukashenko is routinely characterized as a fascist despot.
Imo, this is a friggin big deal. Because of politics and our siding with the corrupt Ukraine over our natural ally Russia, those people were in a black hole and zero chance of release.
This release means leverage or our relationship with Russia has improved. Let's go with the latter.

Are these Americans that were captured in the last few years in latest Ukraine bs OR were they imprisoned back around 2010-2014 with the "Victoria Nuland" instigated bs? Or something else?

If I'm not mistaken tho, these seem to be Belarusian prisoners, not Americans...
The article seems a bit unclear regarding American hostages, but more focused on the pressure in Belarus from both Russia and Ukraine - but mostly Russia in what seems to be impending annexation... but with the USA dealing with Belarus directly, that seems to have put the kibosh on Russia creeping in... for now anyway.
