I wish I could get my husband to stop watching Fox News but by his own choice. They do so much damage by mixing a little truth with a whole lot of opinionated garbage and think that sticking a weak minded demonrat on their party of five makes them more believable. It truly sickens me. At the very least this girl should have given her parents an alternative.

Parents need to call their cable provider. Why would they call their daughter if their cable isn't working. Makes absolutely no sense. I call BS.
Your parents must be good with technology. When I was younger I knew how to reset the router. For years my parents relied on me like I was a professional IT guru. Even my wifes parents called me from out of state to list things on Craigslist and troubleshoot their printer...
Bless you. My parents are way long gone. I should be way long gone, and am not tech savvy. But I pay the xfinity bill every month and know what channels I pay for. It's a connection even non-technical folks can figure out.
