This movie is a Conspiracy Factual movie, everything you see is Real. The CIA coined the word "Conspiracy Theory." Julia Roberts is a man for those who aren't aware.
Before there was John Wick and his dog, there was Mad Max. A legend. The Road Warrior.
"My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories.
I remember a time of chaos... ruined dreams... this wasted land.
But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called Max. To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time... when the world was powered by the black fuel... and the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now... swept away. For reasons long forgotten, two mighty warrior tribes went to war, and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. On the roads it was a white line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice. And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed... men like Max... the warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything... and became a shell of a man... a burnt-out, desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again."
What a movie. 1 and 2, and Thunderdome, just so memorable.
The 2nd half of that movie is the greatest chase scene ever put on film. No cars. Just 10 guys chasing 1 through a jungle with the guy being chased has the dual motivation of surviving and rescuing his pregnant wife and toddler son.
That movie put a buzz in my head the first time I saw the trailer. I make a point of watching it at least once a year.
I say everyone who knows the US Constitution, can quote it verbatim, and understand what it means, is qualified to be AG. I don’t know if this applies to Mel, but he does have other good qualities.
Only if it's Conspiracy Theory Mel....
AND... AND...He hires Vigano as an advisor

Heard she wears pelican briefs...
...the sitting governor of the Great State Of Florida...
You really think he would be a good pick? He has been a great Gov.
" You really think he would be a good pick? "
...he is campaigning for the position...
Im just asking if you think Gov Desantis would get the job done or just end up being like Bondi?

That was when Australia just began to make an impact on American movie goers. Funny how it took an American born actor to make it happen.
If I ever get to meet Mel, I want to thank him for making Apocalypto.
Another great flick. Savage but captivating movie. Made me think, maybe human sacrifice has always been happening.

I think I'll watch it again :)
