Currently, the Ukraine / Russia war is nothing but a standoff. Russia holding their position, refusing to give Donbass back to Ukraine. Russia wants possession of Donbass region in the peace negotiations; Ukraine refuses to agree to this single demand. This is what has stalled the peace negotiations.
The EU is infusing military support to Ukraine at the moment, but that is about to change. My prediction is the Ukraine war gets settled quickly.
Who defends the EU against enemy attack? NATO does. Who largely finances NATO? The USA does. The USA, being part of NATO, would be expected to defend the EU if war broke out.
From what I understand, the EU has relied on America's military support as its own defense system and largely let its own defense system go on without any serious upgrades.
We just saw EU countries refuse to help President Trump in Iran, "This is not our war". This opens the door for Trump to stop funding and leave NATO!
When the USA leaves NATO, it will leave the EU largely undefended, and Russia is sitting right next door fighting a proxy war with Ukraine that is supported by the EU.
If Russia steps up the offensive against Ukraine and/or the EU, Trump will say, "It is not my war".
Trump lifted sanctions on Russian oil and at the same time Russia stopped the flow of oil to the EU via the pipeline. Russia is now selling its oil via cargo ship to the highest bidder; the EU is presently left without any energy imports.

If you're interested, Trey Smith has a long video about Russia with regard to Kim Clement's prophecies. The events seem to be lining up for it to be fulfilled. Basically the implication is that Putin will go for all-out expansion and create intense conflict in Europe. He will eventually be shut down, but it sounds like a nasty period over there.
Putin may seek revenge for the Bolshevik Revolution. 60 million dead Russians. I'm guessing obvious targets are in Isreal and City of London.

We know North Korean military was being controlled by the CIA prior to Trump winning his first term. North Korea was labeled the Axis of Evil by the media. They were a nuclear threat to the world.
