Our local school, Though not Catholic, Is getting a Bad weather day off. But Easter is actually Passover and today was the celebration of the Resurrection from the dead. The first to be raised. Christ. The Beloved Son God in the Flesh himself became Flesh and became the Sacreificed Lamb. The Final Atonment. Catholics have added paganism to every Christian teaching and have decieved the World. Their Church looks like a Serpent and The head of their church is their Father. When God is the only Father. The Creator. The Head of the Family.
Easter is just an old German translation of "hebdomada alba", the old Latin name for Easter week. There's literally nothing pagan about it.
Especially since the vast majority of Catholics worldwide call it "Pascha" or some variation. Only a couple Germanic speaking countries call it "Easter". Not only is it not pagan, but it doesn't even have anything to do with the Catholic church. It's a translation thing
Good thing everybody here has off work for Easter Monday

Odd
Catholic grandmothers believe differently...
The kids at the local Catholic school are getting Easter Monday off.
