Greenland and Alberta most likely. Though Greenland would probably need to be bundled in with another prospective state. Given how small the population is. And how underdeveloped the region is as a whole.

Venezuela and Cuba are debatable. There’s better arguments for leaving Venezuela independent at least. Cuba there’s better odds of that happening given the amount of Cubans already in the U.S. Though again strong arguments for maintaining an independent Cuba exist.

Supposing the people there truly wish for annexation/statehood and go through that song and dance. That changes the question. Though It’s more likely a couple of those stars are likely referencing other Canadian Provinces. If Alberta leaves Canada. As the suspected outcome of their referendum in the fall would indicate. Saskatchewan and possibly Manitoba will likely follow.

It’s also worth noting the number of stars also says nothing about the number of territories we may have in the future. And territorial status would likely be just as appealing if not more so than Statehood. There’s also existing U.S territories that might opt for Statehood.

But given how the past few years have gone and how weird they’ve been. We could end up with some real wildcards in the docket for potential Statehood.

Venezuela is only one of them. Multiple U.S Agencies have made references to the U.S not giving up the Moon again. Which could be taken to mean the Moon could be added.

The powers that be have also had the mad on for something in Antarctica. Perhaps we’ll give the world the finger and tell them Antarctica is also ours now.
