I think the biggest key right now is cutting off all the fraud that these illegals are depending on and exposing Democrat corruption in the meantime.
That resonates with Independent voters ahead of the midterms.
Those numbers will go up after most of the worst of the worst are taken care of and ICE expands its operations to the regular illegals.
And a lot of them will pack up everything they own and family into a new pickup and head for the border. Good luck repossessing that truck well south of the border.

Hoping there'll be an, "Oh sh-t!" moment for them -- maybe when most of their $ grifts get cut, "regular illegal aliens" start getting the boot, they realize they're being targeted/feel unable to go out in public, and they realize they could actually face loss of all their possessions and permanent deportation.
It seems like there is no viably acceptable [humanitarian] way to 'deport' 30-40 million (imo) estimated illegals. Trump has not delivered on this promise yet. How do you scoop up swarms of parasites at once? Cutting off the stolen-money faucet and forcing the smart illegals to take their ill-gotten gains and leave is a weak, good - ok. But, we still have their crime-laden, low IQ, welfare state, illegals with birthright babies to fund and look at contaminating our country. These are spies, criminals and non-assimilating people with bad intentions. ?! We still lose at recovering stolen money, don't we? Not much 'justice' and no Restitution.
